San Jose CAN is a newly formed, grassroots civic action network based in San Jose, California, Santa Clara County. The organization is operated entirely by volunteers and serves as a local chapter affiliated with the nationwide Indivisible movement. San Jose CAN brings together residents who care about democracy, human dignity, and the well-being of their community.

Our purpose is to empower everyday people to participate in civic life and to take meaningful action on issues that affect their families, neighborhoods, and future. We believe democracy works best when communities are informed, engaged, and united in peaceful participation.

San Jose CAN focuses on defending democratic institutions, opposing authoritarianism, advancing social justice and equal rights, and supporting humanitarian causes. The organization also promotes voter participation, election integrity, and transparent, accountable government at the local, state, and federal levels.

We organize educational events, community discussions, volunteer opportunities, and peaceful public gatherings, including rallies and civic engagement activities.
